Our Story
From humble beginnings, this one-man show has grown into a family-centric community of staff and clientele with three locations across Sydney & Brisbane. Formally established in 2002, our story began under the name Allplaster Products, with our director, Andrew Jones, operating as a sole trader from 1997. Allplasta started out of an old pig shed in Schofields, NSW, right up until 2015, before moving to one of our current factories in Wilberforce, NSW.
Our People and Standards
Allplasta blends traditional plaster skills with modern quality controls. Our makers are craftspeople who understand period detail and installation realities — how a cornice mitre needs to sit on a beam, or how a ceiling rose will read under different lighting. We also work with apprentices and local TAFE programs to pass these skills forward, helping keep the craft alive for the next generation of plasterers.

The Allplasta Team
We're more than a group of skilled craftsmen. Allplasta is a workplace built on genuine connection. Getting along, supporting one another and enjoying the day-to-day matters just as much as the quality of our products.
That sense of camaraderie shows in the way we work: everyone respects the craft, everyone pitches in, and everyone looks out for one another. We strive to uphold a family-like environment where people feel valued, heard and part of something bigger than the job itself.
This culture is one of the reasons our work stays consistently strong. Whether we’re collaborating on a complex custom piece or managing a full production run, that shared trust and easy communication helps everything flow smoothly.
At Allplasta, we believe that good people make good products — and fostering a supportive, positive workplace is one of our proudest achievements.
An Interview with Our Director, Andrew Jones
Why did you start Allplasta?
I enjoyed workng with my hands and found that making intricate, detailed moulds was pretty interesting. I started unusually with just one mould, but no day is the same and I really like that.
Did you have any experience before Allplasta?
Back in ‘95 I first learnt how to make cornices with Ausplaster in Riverstone. From there, I went on to work for Ryan Laos at Silver Cornices in Rydalmere until I decided to go out on my own and open up a business.
What did a typical week look like when you first started?
I had one employee, Johnny, working for me while I was employed full-time at Silver Cornices. I’d finish work in Rydalmere during the day, then cast for Allplasta into the night. We’d hang the cornice from nails under the pitched roof of my Pa's old pig shed and then deliver everything in a 1968 model farm truck on the weekends.
What was your first Allplasta product?
My first mould I ever bought was A6, which is still sold in our range, and the Allplasta logo is inspired by the fleur de leaf which you see on a couple of our cornices and ceiling roses.
Recall the craziest time at Allplasta.
I remember I started Tafe in ‘97, and at the end of ‘99, there was this big hailstorm, the size of oranges. We were overwhelmed with ceiling repair work, and I dropped out to keep up – something like 50 sets of AP8 panels and hundreds of SR A24 lengths. After that, I went back to finish TAFE part-time with my customers' apprentices!
Then in 2015 I moved the factory out to Wilberforce and later opened the Allplasta Metro in West Ryde, NSW in September of 2020. I’ve never lost my passion for fibrous plasterwork and still enjoy making custom moulds for some really cool projects.
